About Me

Although originally from the midwest, I have lived in Salt Lake and Park City for 10 years, drawn here by the amazing outdoors, scenery, and endless possible adventures. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I also have worked with individual adults. My work has included all levels of care including inpatient, residential, day treatment, and out patient care. I supervised a day treatment program and created a high school-based therapy service in Portland, Oregon. I currently work at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute in the child and adolescent units. I have worked closely with schools, as well as doctors and mid-level practitioners, to help create a comprehensive support team for my clients.

My experience and expertise is in:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Autism spectrum disorders
  • Attention disorders
  • Mood and behavior disorders
  • Bipolar disorders
  • Dual Diagnosis
  • PTSD
  • Undiagnosed mental health concerns

I have worked with children, adolescents, and the families of those who are going through a divorce, are struggling in school to make or keep friends, are experiencing suicidal ideation, have survived trauma and/or neglect, have lost a loved one, are struggling with addiction, as well as those who want to improve their relationships within and outside the family.
